First Game of the Season

Cade's first basketball game was Saturday morning at 10:30. It was a close opening game 22-19. The powerful Celtics came away with their first win. Cade is enjoying and really seems to be understanding the game. He has made a new friend, Teddy. They often hang around after practice and play Foosball together. Which leads to the big event of the game. Teddy brought the ball down the right hand side pulled up and passed under the basket to Cade. Cade powered his was up (that might be a little exaggerated) and made his first basket. He was sooo excited. But I think Craig may have been even more excited. They were both kind of gushing about it.
It was a fun first game. Cade has a very nice team and coach. God just takes care of the details even in Y Basketball.

Starting Off 2008

2008 started off with a lot of snow and we all enjoyed it. We spent a lot of time in the back yard pulling the boys on sleds (hard for mommy), building forts, digging tunnels (nothing too deep Grandma-don't worry), and Cade and Reid did a lot of snow wrestling (I think should become a new sport in the Winter Olympics).
