Precious Gift

I read this devotional about how children view dandelions as beautiful flowers. I should try to find it and put it in this post. But when Trey told me he had picked flowers for me and then I found this mass of dandelions that is what I thought about. They were a beautiful mound of flowers. How many do you think he picked?

Red-cockaded Woodpecker

Cade was so proud of his recycled/endangered animal project that he made with Grandma. (I, being the smart mom that I am,recruited her for help.) So the two of them did most of the work on the little woodpecker. I did help Cade hot glue it onto the tree. I drove Cade to school so his woodpecker could make it in one piece. His project did end up making it to the display case in the front of the school.
