Trick or Treat

We all had a very fun Halloween. I was able to go scrapbooking in the morning. I went by myself and really did not know anybody, but it was a great break from kids.
When I got home we carved pumpkins. Reid was ready to go. He and Aleah enjoyed the pumpkin carving the most.

Cade did not want to get his hands dirty. (He just wants to be a teenager now. His idea of being a teenager is wearing cool sunglasses and laying around watching tv. He told my mom and I this a couple weeks ago. It's so Cade.)

Trey touched Aleah's head and left dirt and pumpkin guts on her forehead.

The giant carved pumpkins. Uncle Bob and Aunt Judy grew the pumpkins and Grandma and Grandpa picked them. My kids are well provided for when it comes to pumpkins.

Trey had to say,"ouch", every whisker he got.

Mean football player. Last minute costume by mom worked out pretty well.

Cute cuddly puppy dog.

Scary pirate.

Baby Aleah frog.

The crew.

We went down to the fall festival the the church had. The kids had a blast. Everyone was missing Michigan when we were driving there, but once we were there everyone had so much fun that they did not mention Michigan again.

Cade, Reid, and Trey all took turns with the lasso, but Trey was the only one to lasso the bull.

Aleah was not quite sure about the pony ride, but she did not cry.

Hay race, not really sure what it was called, but it was Cade against Reid and Trey.

At the end of the night Craig had the boys come to the door. So they could ring the door and say "trick or treat" at least one time.

It was cold and dark when we got home and we all had a lot of fun.
